| Day 22 From the writings of Catherine Ponder. – One of the most scientific, businesslike, and spiritual ways of sharing is through the act of tithing one-tenth of one’s gross income to God’s work. Systematic giving opens the way to systematic receiving. When you think you cannot afford to give is the very time when you cannot afford not to give! If through your own wisdom you have been unable to realize unlimited supply, then you need divine wisdom to guide you into greater abundance. You are a rich child of a loving Father; by putting God first financially, you make contact with His wisdom, and with His unlimited bounty which has been provided for you. A man who has tithed since childhood firmly believes that when a person is in financial difficulties, the best way to get out of them is to tithe. It is true: you must share your substance to insure continuation of your substance. Sharing and expectancy are the beginning of financial increase and abundance. The marvelous truth is that when you give or share, you automatically begin to expect fresh new supply to come to you, because you know you have invoked the prosperity law fully.
